Judd's parents drove up here for the long weekend from Tampa........the weather was beautiful (the first time they've visited with nice weather), so we did a bunch of sightseeing.
Saturday: Baltimore day. Ft Mchenry, the Inner Harbor, Federal Hill, lunch at the Baltimore Museum of Art, walked through Fells Point, rested at home, visit at Steve & Dixie's house, then dinner at Nick's Fish house. Memorable because I think I finally found a china cabinet/hutch that I like, for not a horrible price. Now to find a table to match, and we're in business!! The big MD/Navy football game was going
Sunday: Judd + Dad played golf until 3-ish, MIL and I did some shopping (Sam's club, then outlet mall). I bought shoes that must be returned. I napped for about 2 hours. Ate dinner at home (FAB steaks marinated in 1/3 fig preserves, 2/3 balsamic vinegar overnight, grilled and served with melted Aldouse (sp) garlic spread cheese)
Monday: DC day.....2 hours at Arlington National Cemetery, hotdog lunch, visit to the National Archives to see the Big 3 documents (and yes, they did sell National Treasure in the gift shop), looooong walk up the mall to Vietnam Memorial, walk back to WWII memorial, cooled feet in fountain; dinner at the fabulouso
