It has been raining now for about four days and I'm really worried that we are going to lose all of our beautiful leaves before I get a chance to get out and take some pictures! They are just about at their peak. Hopefully the rain will let up some this week and there will still be some leaves to photograph

I like your LJ. Wow, you´ve got grown up kids already. Mine are 16,14 and 5. My oldest one is named Nick too! I´m so sorry to read about your older son. What do you mean by celiac disease (tried to look it up in a dictionary but I couldn´t make anything out of it)?

Celiac disesase is when a person can't tollerate anything with gluten in it (wheat/barley/rye). It sounds terrible by I have heard from several people that it is not hard to manage, you just have to be careful what you eat. It will be hard for him though, because he loves all kinds of breads. I've been told that the stores where I live carry a good supply of gluten free products, I just have never looked for them before. He'll find out it a couple of weeks if that's what it is. Please keep him in your prayers.

Vermont must be looking very beautiful at the moment. Well... when it's not raining that is! The trees were just turning when we were in the US.

The leaves are beautiful but there is a weather advisory on for all of today for high winds along with the rain so I think the leaves will be gone by next week, darn!

Heavy rain here too, then good for two days, then back to the rain.
