Rainy Saturday
It has been raining now for about four days and I'm really worried that we are going to lose all of our beautiful leaves before I get a chance to get out and take some pictures! They are just about at their peak. Hopefully the rain will let up some this week and there will still be some leaves to photograph.
My reiki teachers set up a reiki share today for service men and women and their families. This is a free service that my teachers are going to offer once a month to people coming back from the war (or veterans who have served in other wars). There were nine of us there doing reiki on people. It is so powerful when several reiki practitioners work together in one area, at least that has been my experience and I've only been doing it for a little over a year. It just felt so good to give back to people who have given so much for their country.
My boys both had birthdays (Nick September 30, 1987 & Chris October 14, 1983) and I'm feeling quite a bit older myself. My baby turned 18! He is thinking of going into the service but hasn't decided which branch as of yet. My older son has had quite a few health problems and they think he may have celiac disease (not sure if that is how it's spelled). They are ruling out a few other things before they test him for it. I just want them to find out what's wrong with him. He wants to get on with his life as well as he hasn't been able to work for a couple of years. I wish he'd let me do reiki on him but he doesn't want to have anything to do with it. It will take someone else besides his mother to show him that it is really beneficial.
Well, off to put away some groceries my husband just brought home.
