Governor Carcetti?
Watched the last episode of "The Wire" last night, and now there's a story that could have been ripped right from the show... our dumbass governor got caught in a prostitution sting. I can't believe I voted for this moron.

In other news, saw "Be Kind Rewind" last week. It had some great moments and an amazing cast, but was a little unsatisfying. Gondry has good ideas and insane visual style, but has trouble making it all work together. I guess Dave Chappelle came up with the idea for "Rewind" while he and Gondry made "Block Party", and he was supposed to play the Mos Def role. Mos Def was good, but Chappelle would have been brilliant in this part... too bad.
Also saw The Donnas and The Hives last week. The Hives kicked ass, one of the best live shows I've seen. The singer had the moves of a young Mick Jagger or Roger Daltery, and the whole band had tons of energy and tore through the songs-- really amazing.
