I want to kick that volcano's ash!
My flight to London got cancelled--not surprised, really...earliest I could get rebooked was to arrive on April 28--4 days AFTER the wedding, and the day I needed to leave to come back home.
I'm going to go over late summer or early fall to see my friends; sent a gift for the wedding, but I'm absolutely gutted. Trying to get over it--at least I will be able to see my friends later, and see their new home, and spend a little more time with them in a more relaxed atmosphere. I have met and made a mutual friend, and we're going to host a party for the couple & their family when I'm over; she can't get to the wedding either.
So one of you lovely friends, please give me a swift kick in the a@@. Thank you.
