Winter's Coming Back!
After a huge blast of Arctic air last week, and snow flurries and real cold weather in early December, yesterday and today are downright mild and unseasonably warm, which makes me grumpy--I like my winters cold!
But the good news is that a cold front's headed our way--hooray!
In the meantime, I'm going shopping for a wedding shower gift that I need before 2 PM today (I could't be bothered to fight the crowds yesterday, and I'm going to Bed, Bath & Beyond, where the bride is registered), with a 20% off coupon--double hooray!
Somewhere in there, I should get some new perfume and then remember to eat something. I also want to make a stop by the cemetery--yesterday was my dad's b'day, and while there were still flowers there from Christmas Eve, I wanted to spend a little time there. Not too much, though--I've been emotional enough this week and don't want to look like Rudolph when I leave.
Tonight I think I'll stay in and finish my last Christmas thank-you notes, and just be.
