Last Day
This afternoon at 5:30 will be the last service of my church at our current location; we're moving and dedicating the new building next Saturday.
This was the church my husband Darrell attended for 18 years, singing in the choir and serving as a lay minister; we had our anniversary rings blessed in the chapel, and his funeral service was here.
I'm going out a little early today, to take some pictures and have some memory time; while I haven't been attending here very long compared to a lot of the members, it's still a place of familiarity and comfort, so there's a bit of mourning to be done, as well as some funny stories to be told.
