(no subject)

got a lot of things to do. Really. Like, A LOT. There's a Holmesian (Russian) team challenge we're doing, and the fic I'm translating is, weeeeeell. Kind of. Too long.
Because I'm stupid.

And the exams are COMING and I'm going from full-blown panic to mindlessly browsing tumblr in a couple of seconds.

The thing is, I'm obsessing over Les Mis now. YEAH.

things that gave me the final push in that direction (the direction of finally fucking listening to it in full): 1. Roger Allam 2. Finnish-Swedish Theatre.
No, seriously.
It's actually a very sad story, because my first encounter with that vid was back in January, and if I had paid a little more attention, if I had known it was actually rather close, being in Finland rather than Sweden, if I had known back then that Åbo was Swedish for Turku, etc, etc. If I had gotten a little bit more interested than I got back then (and that was pretty interested, just... not enough, I guess). If I had already held such love for Les Mis as I do now.
Maybe I would have watched it live (it finished in February). Now, though, I have all the feelings for a production which I never got to and probably will never watch or even listen to in full. ALL THE FEELINGS. Especially for Sören, who, accidentally, because of that trailer, became my first Javert. (it's nice, in a way; I don't have to pick favourites this way, because he will always be the best; I can like Quast and Carpenter and others in very different ways, love them, actually, but not trouble myself with picking a favourite).
And that's just two trailers and and a one song concert performance.
Why are Nordic people so fucking awesome? Why is Swedish so fucking awesome?
What the hell, Ve.

It's also kinda sad reading Dostoevsky (EXAMS!!111) when I want to read Hugo (have never read a single book of his, too); especially counting how I really, really love Dostoevsky.

les mis, is there a more masochistic fandom, musicals, обнять и плакать, really?, mah favourites, obsessions, omg what, literature, don't think so
