Challenge One_Liners Table 3
Warnings Mild: Angst, AU world
Author's Notes: This challenge spans the entire width of my Sharing a World universe, covering plenty (as it can be seen in the header) minor and major characters and traveling back and forth in the timeline. Bear with me and just hang for the ride.
Author's Notes2: Jon Lyle to
fredbasset . Who, not only let me steal *cough* borrow him but also betaed this lot.
Kiss
She knows this is almost certainly not a very good idea, knows she tends to fall for the bad guys that only break her heart but as she feels Kalti's arms wrap around her waist and his lips brush against hers and butterflies fill her stomach, Claudia really couldn't care less about being a good girl.
Silk
Rosa ran her lips along one graceful and yet muscled shoulder then marked her passage with soft butterfly kisses along her lover's spine, tongue gently tracing each vertebra in a way that sent a shiver of pleasure through the body under her; her lover might have the hands, body and heart of a soldier but her skin was as soft as the most luxurious silk.
Starlight
Nick lay comfortably on the dragon's back watching the unbroken expanse of stars above them, Micanimus large body rising and falling under him like a bellows as the dragon spoke in his low rumbling voice of a life that was his and wasn't, and not for the first time Nick felt he did not regret whatever they had done to cause these kind of changes to the universe.
Friends
Ryan glanced at Lyle, the other boy standing a few cadets down the row from him on the parade grounds, and tried to ignore the unhappy feeling in his gut; it was their graduation day from the Academy and he should be proud of his accomplishments and excited about his new posting, not wondering if he was about to lose his best friend.
Smile
It's often hard for a dragon to understand a humans' range of facial expressions but Gostegion learns early on that the happiness behind Jon's smile when her captain sees Ryan is the only thing that comes close to what she sees when he's looking at her.
Home
Nick gently traced the plains of his lover's chest as he watched the younger man sleeping soundly; Stephen's possessions were scattered in boxes around the flat and Nick could not help admitting he was home, no matter how different it was from his original one.
