"Aiba-chan, wake up"
Aiba just groaned and turned around. Was way too early, and he didn't want to wake up and face the day.
"Come on, you'll be late"
"Ok... five minutes?"
"No, you already said that, wake up now"
Aiba turned back and half opened his eyes to be face to face to his step brother, well guess there was no other option. He groaned again and finally got up to get ready, today was his first day at university and to say he was nervous was way too little.
His life had really changed these last 6 months since the accident, and not even in his craziest dreams he had thought he'd be going to university, but there he was, getting dressed to face his first day.
During those 6 months, he had had much time to think about what he was doing with his life, and during all that time, Sho had been there. It took a while for them to be back to normal, and it was needed a long time of being just friends and incontable time getting to understand each other fully to realize this time they were finally ready to be together.
When Aiba finally arrived to the campus, he found Nino, Jun and Sho already waiting for him, and as soon as he got closer, Sho moved closer and kissed him softly.
"It will be ok"
Aiba chuckled softly, for some reason his boyfriend looked even more nervous than him for his first day. Aiba just shrugged it before replying.
"I know, if not I have a smart boyfriend for something..."
He gained a little snap in the back of his head and the endless laughs from Nino and Jun because of the recriminatory look Sho was now giving Aiba.
Aiba smiled too, it seemed so incredible to see how things slowly had progressed to that point, where he had manage to get some kind of balance in their lives. In all this time, Aiba had decided to do things right, he even put his upmost effort to fix things with his father, and now that he was starting university, it all looked like going through the right path. And then there were also Sho’s parents, he properly apologized for all he had done and, even though they didn't agree fully with Sho's decision to keep their relation, they had finally stopped opposing it
"Hello, planet earth calling Masaki" Sho said while waving his hand in front of Aiba's face
"Sorry, sorry"
"What were you thinking? You got distracted all of a sudden" Sho pouted slightly and Aiba kissed him while giggling.
"I was thinking in how lucky I am"
It was now Sho the one giggling now. Aiba just smiled and waved his goodbye before going to what was going to be his class during his first year. He was decided, he was gonna do it this time, and he was doing right. Because, he wanted to stay there, three steps over heaven with Sho.
