things i wouldn't do for 1 million €

yesterday I saw a little kid at the train station holding her tongue against the escalator's handrail and thus licking the length of it. even thinking of it now it gives me hives and makes me want to break out a brillo pad and scrub myself down with it.

I went home and took a long hot shower. this wasn't entirely because of the whole handrail licking incident (*shudder*), but mostly because I have a head cold that gives me a raging headache and made me experience everything through a veil yesterday.

but it wasn't all bad yesterday - on the contrary: I met my colleague H. who brought me a sunflower, just because she saw one on her way to the café. she also told me the most romantic story ever.

Her boyfriend asked her, what books she likes to read, so he could get her one for her birthday. She likes mysteries, but said "Ask me before you buy one, because I've read so many of them already." Instead of getting her a mystery novel, he decided to write one for her, making her the main character/investigator. I think that would impress even elhamisabel , no? And it's even better than a date in a Saturn to look at computers ;-) even though it has potential to go horribly, awkwardly wrong.

on a completely different note, the spider which has been living on my balcony, waiting for the opportunity to gnaw off my feet in my sleep looking scary is finally gone. I'm not sure if I should be relieved or worried. At least I used to know where it was.

I'm off to bed now, trying to cure my headache.
