Seeds 46-56: 2-2 (however, the two that got me went on to post the largest rating-point gains in the whole event)

Other things done on the same trip: While in Los Angeles, saw the Space Shuttle Endeavour up close and personal... A display of Haitian art at the Fowler Museum (the voodooists' take on the 2010 earthquake was "even the gods couldn't handle it so they took the week off")... Heard three pieces by John Cage for prepared piano (various things stuck in the strings so they sound different)... Saw my first double rainbow on the train back, outside of San Luis Obispo (but I didn't have the camera with me to record it, dang)
