North Carolina had embarrassing company yesterday
The haters did something even stranger in the West Virginia primary, giving a convicted felon 40% of the vote.
In the Democratic Party primary.
I mean, 40% favoring a felon over Romney (whose business activities, described in an article I linked to before, may have cost some of these voters their own jobs personally, and could in their minds represent unpunished crimes in their own right) I can see. But on the D side? And to think WV broke off from Virginia proper because the Virginians were willing to fight a war for the privilege to consider black people as property.... and now Virginia proper is trending into the Dem column.
Is it something about the coal dust that's making them so racist?
