Random stuff I'd been meaning to say
1. The opening sequence of the opera we went to ... geez, 4 weeks ago... Carmen. The whole garrison of Sevilla is after her except one guy, Don José. He's outright making a show of not looking interested... which is exactly what Carmen is looking for, so she up and brain-glomps him. Why does that seem familiar? (Oh yeah, that was Inês's opening sequence. If you see me on the Facebook side getting comments that you couldn't figure out right away... she's back and as inscrutable as ever.)
2. The whole Penn State riots thing a couple of weeks back. Gee, you'd think someone criticized their god or something, like Mecca after those Danish cartoons.
Oh, wait. This was about Paterno in central Pennsylvania. Yeah, that's about what happened, from the students' perspective.
