Kind-of-random
•Got back from the opera last night- The Magic Flute, including that Queen of the Night F cesarsalad was talking about three years ago. Nobody mentioned Sarastro's low F in that context though.
•Something fun was in my email when I got back, to the point where I may have to arrange to be looking at it around 9PM Wednesdays. Anyone else into lateral thinking exercises?
•Mom had a rough couple of days, the passport issue (fortunately we still had the ones before THAT, so the same-day-replacement avenue was available) and having all her top teeth out (closest I've experienced was having my wisdom teeth out 20 or so years ago and it Was Not Fun, they were coming up sideways and the dentist had to basically shred them in place...)
•Had one of my coolest bingo finds ever at club, landing CLOUUU? into an S 8th. Then in the endgame, my innocent-looking set-up-two-out-spots play turned into a perfect play when I noted the third outplay opp couldn't outrun. I can't say it was brilliant because I hadn't seen that it was the winner until after I'd made the play.
