Intersection

Being together
is similiar to coming to an intersection
where all the traffic is stopped
and you can walk across
but you are the only one
so you step out into the road
everything seems ok
and you start to walk across
keeping your eyes on the bright white walk sign
however being in the middle of this intersection
it feels like every one is watching you
you are holding up the pace
and you are out of place
among all of this fiber glass and motors
alright half way there
at any moment a vehicle could not see that sign
i think
and it would be over
just laying on the cross walk, punishment for being out of place
i 'spose
but than you step up onto the paved side walk and think you have made it
journey is not over of course
you don't just cross a cross walk and stop there
you keep walking
that is what being together is like
