Holy Marcus*! I live!
I know I've been MIA. Sorry, I've been ass deep in classwork. Spring Break just started tonight so I plan on still being ass deep but I'll have a breather as I write my papers and read my books for class.
I had to do a presentation on the investiture controversy and Matilda of Tuscany. I royally screwed myself but my teacher loves and passed me anyway. So my A is maintained so far. I have 3 As and 1 D. The D is in French, but I can make that into a B. I think I got like a 90% on the quiz earlier today. I'd like to pass with a 3.75 this semester if I can. If I thought I had the chance, I'd go for an A for a 4.0, but that's a nice bonus but not necessarily for the truth.
My alpha heroine paper is about to be written now that I have so many sources. I need to email some authors my questions, at least one anyway because she loves me. And I'm so not worrying about grammar. I have two more papers to write, too. One on Canterbury Tales, which I didn't like in 9th or 10th grade either. But at least it ain't Heart of Darkness. My English teacher hates me, anyway, but whatevs. It's not like she's the leader of my division of English. Oh, wait.
I'm so screwed. But I'm working hard. And now I'm onto making friends on campus. I'm working on it! I think one of the older seniors sees me as a project, which I'm willing to be. Know your limitations and gear up with people in powerful places.
