I am too! I want to be happy, and like work. This place? Totally better and less crap. And less work, so I'll help the other areas if I have down time. Which is good. Cross-training is brilliant.

Exactly! And if they need me, I can work for them in a pinch. It's a good thing entirely. Plus? More work hours then.

More hours=Very Good Thing. You said it was close by, as in walking distance close? Or just a short car ride?

5-10 minutes by car. I have to cross two major highway overpasses to get there. That amount of time in traffic is a godsend compared.

That's not bad at all. Less $$ going into the gas tank every week!

Exactly! I left at 5, which is prime go home time around here. So I was majorly impressed. I was really impressed compared to my last job, which was a good 20 minutes away with *no* traffic, more with it.

You can't beat that with a stick!

Nope! And there's two gas stations (one at the job) so I can get my supplies before work. *grins*

Well damn, you're all hooked up now aren't you? ;) Do you know anything about what the scheduling will be like, or do you have to wait?

She's going to call me tomorrow, but I'll work all day Monday for sure. So that'll be 7:15am - 6pm closing. After that, I'm not sure. I'll know when she calls me tomorrow.

Ouch, early! It's awesome that they're getting back to you so quickly on that. Good sign!

I thought so! But on those days, I get an hour lunch, which is awesome. I can run to Krogers (across the street) and grab it, then bring it back to be nuked.
