thwack goes the jaws of life

Okay, so my interview. I stand a serious chance since they have no kennel staff currently. They asked about my previous experience, etc. It lasted like...10 minutes, if that. Here's hoping it went well.

Next up. I have to pay money on that trust I can't access until I'm 30, which is a nice change from the original 35. So I can't file electronically, but have to do it by mail. Go them for waiting for-fucking-ever to give me the nececessary documents. Moving on...

Tornadoes in the South. Spring's here, y'all. Seriously. I expect quite a few more in the next three months. It's usually worse in Georgia in March, though. Hope everyone's okay from 'em.

Now, the biggest news: The overturned Bluffington College baseball player's bus off of I-75. Oh my god. I feel...so terrible for these kids. They were on their way, and the bus driver got on the wrong lane, and didn't compensate for it. Or that's the speculation. Bus driver and wife dead. Four students. Shitload with minor problems. One in critical, one in pretty bad. Split between three or four hospitals. I just...wow. Dude, but here's Atlanta for you: when the crash happened, motorists (dozen or so) ran out from their cars and tried to help them out before other motorists crashed into the bus. It went off the top of the ramp, on the southbound lane. Y'all, this wasn't a teeny wreck. It was backed up from Spaghetti Junction (where quite a few highways merge, dangerous area). Southbound was stopped, cops rerouting back up the southbound lanes after people had been in cars for three hours or more. It's insane. I want to hug these kids. So much.
