I think I've pretty much lost steam in regards to my Burning Man '07 update posts; however, there is something which I still wish to preserve for posterity.

My Mom just gave me a gift. She had me close my eyes and hold out my hand. When I did so, she placed something on my upturned palm. I opened my eyes. like tonight. I was in Rite-Aid, looking at things as I am wont to do. A song was playing on the overhead speaker system and I began to dance around. I thought to myself, "I'm a dancin' turtle!" Then I realized what I had said. I was sad and allowed myself to BE sad for a moment. I embraced it and honored it. I just simply did not energize it.
