(no subject)
Today was an odd yet mellow day.
I lay in bed all day. I caught up on Tivo, rolled yarn into balls, took a very small cat nap, browsed my crochet books and found a handful of patterns which I think I could very well manage to accomplish as gifts for this coming Holiday season. Believe it or not, I did get up a few times. A couple of those times I wound up helping Karen back to bed. I made myself some tea and toast. I did a couple of loads of laundry, one of which still needs to be thrown into the dryer. I swept the floor and cleaned a few spots on our area rug.
Chris was gone all afternoon cleaning out his old room. When he came home we snuggled for a little while then showered, got dressed and headed out to dinner. Afterwards we grabbed coffee at Starbucks then picked up cat food as well as puppy treats from Lucky and made our way to the Puppy Party. We got to Marie's before 8:30, just managing to see Big Chris & Stephanie before they left for the evening. Phantom, the puppy, is illegally adorable. Seriously. I hung out for a little while then asked Chris if he would kindly give me a lift home. He dropped me off and headed back to the party. I'm sure they will hours of drinking and Wii-ing ahead of them.
I'm not exactly an extrovert. Right now, I'm happy to be at home, alone. Just chillin' with my Dezi.
I hear thumping coming from somewhere in the house. :\
Tomorrow I'd like to see a movie. I think.
