1. WHAT WAS THE FIRST RECORD YOU OWNED (BOUGHT FOR YOU)?
45 - Beastie Boys - Fight for your right (to party!)
album - Either the Annie motion picture soundtrack or for some inexplicable reason my dad got me Toni Basil's album with Mickey on it.

2. WHAT WAS THE FIRST RECORD YOU EVER BOUGHT?
Metallica's black album (what the fuck has happened to Metallica since then? I hate thier new material.)

3. IF YOU HAD SOMEONE OF THE OPPOSITE SEX COMING OVER AND YOU WANTED TO IMPRESS THEM, WHICH CDS WOULD YOU HIDE?
I have J.Lo's first CD lurking somewhere in my collection *hangs head in shame*

4. IS THERE A SONG THAT REMINDS YOU MOST OF YOUR CHILDHOOD?
Alex Harvey's Oh Spartacus! from the Mafia stole my guitar album. I would do the gaspy breathing part of the chorus along with the record when I was 3 months old (My parents were huge SAHB fans.) The Roxy Music Country Life album also brings back memories (ha I fist saw female pubic hair on the banned import cover of that album when I was like 3 years old)

5. IF YOU COULD SPEND A NIGHT WITH FIVE MUSICAL ARTISTS - THREE FOR THEIR MINDS AND TWO FOR THEIR BODIES - WHO WOULD THEY BE?
For their minds: Jimmi Hendrix, Elliott Smith, Nick Drake
Bodies- Jeff Buckley and Carl Barat (of the Libertines) I would also do my damndest to sneak in Diego Garcia of Elefant in my handbag and try to get him to make out with Carl and let me watch.

6. IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT SONG WOULD PLAY OVER THE FOLLOWING:
OPENING CREDITS: Ral Partha Vogelbacher - Red hot tugboat
LOVE SCENES: Kleenex Girl Wonder - You look ravishing tonight
CLOSING CREDITS: Extra Glenns - Going to Marakesh

8. WHAT DO YOU LISTEN TO WHEN YOU ARE...?
HAPPY: Pixies, Deadsy, Libertines,
SAD: Bessie Smith, Elliott Smith, Leonard Cohen,
ANGRY: Tori Amos, Nirvana,
DRUNK: Cheesy 80's pop music like Your Love by the Outfield, Billy Idol, Waitresses etc.
9. NAME ONE MUSICAL ARTIST YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE BANISHED:
Can I chain Celine Dion to Fred Durst and Britney Spears as I eject her out into space?

10. NAME ONE MUSICAL GENRE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE BANISHED:
The current radio shit that passes for rock with all of its fake angst

11. NAME A SONG YOU WOULD RATHER HEAR NEVER AGAIN:
Anything by Wings but especially Simply having a wonderful Christmas time makes me rip out my own tonsils and beat passersby silly with them.

12. WHAT NOW-DEFUNCT BAND WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO SEE REUNITE (LIVING OR DEAD)?
I think it would be awesome to see what else the Jimmi Hendrix experience or Elliott Smith would have put out.

13. NAME AN ALBUM THAT IS PERFECT ALL THE WAY THROUGH - NO FILLER, NO BAD STUFF.
I still love all of Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos, Surfer Rosa by the Pixies, Joshua Tree by U2 and the banana album by the Velvet Underground.

14. MUSIC YOU LIKE THAT COULD BE CONSIDERED A GUILTY PLEASURE.
The Counting Crows (I sort of hate myself for liking them, but I've been a fan since August and Everything after.) I also love Queen but I'm not really ashamed of that :)

15. IF YOUR MUSIC COLLECTION WAS ABOUT TO GO UP IN FLAMES, WHICH FIVE CDS WOULD YOU SAVE?
Elliott Smith's Either/or, Aimmee Mann's Magnolia soundtrack, Belle and Sebastian - The boy with the arab strap, Sublime - self titled, Steven Malkmus - Self titled.

16. IS THERE A SONG THAT DESCRIBES YOU OR A SITUATION YOU'VE BEEN IN SO WELL THAT YOU COULD HAVE WRITTEN IT?
I think Elliott Smith's Junk Bond Trader describes my sort of view on life really quite well.

17. WHICH UNDERRATED ARTIST DESERVES MORE ATTENTION?
The Extra Glenns are simply amazing

18. HAS A SONG OR ARTIST CHANGED YOUR LIFE IN ANY WAY? IF SO, HOW?
Hearing Robert Johnson's song The Crossroads began my love of the blues. Listening to Elliott Smith for the first time about 2-3 years ago made me feel less alone in the world.

19. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SOUNDTRACK?
The Magnolia soundtrack by Aimee Mann, lately I've been listening to the Garden State soundtrack though.

20. BEST MUSIC-RELATED MOVIE.
SPINAL TAP!!!! I could not possibly love this movie more, the stonehenge bit always makes me laugh until I bleed internally.

21. WHAT WOULD YOUR DREAM BAND BE?
vocals - Harriet Wheeler (lead singer of the Sundays) and Jeff Buckley
lead guitar - Jimmi Hendrix
Bass - George Harrison
drums - John Bonzo Bonham

22. DO YOU MISS THE DAYS WHEN MTV USED TO, LIKE, SHOW VIDEOS AND STUFF?
I do to an extent but I don't enjoy the music videos bands make today, too expensive and formulaic. (damn I sound much older than 23).

23. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ALL-TIME VIDEO?
I still love Prodigy's Smack my bitch up, NIN the perfect drug because Trent is so edible in it.

24. CURRENT FAVORITE RADIO HIT?
I honestly never listen to the radio anymore, IF I had my own radio station it would probably be something by the Mountain Goats or Iron and Wine heh.
