After a whole week of running around begging teachers on my knees and journeying from secretary to secretary I'm finally registered for all my classes. I have one class on mondays (6:00 PM - 9:20, I can sleep in yeah!) and none on Fridays. Last year I registered the first day I could and I had 8 AM classes every freakin' day, go figure. I'm excited about Rise and Fall of the Ottoman Empire. It's a level 400 class so I know I'll work my ass off but at least it will be interesting. Visual Imagery is supposed to be fairly fun, I don't like my music and interaction teacher but I can deal. The rest of my semesters are all teaching courses and you have the same people in all of your classes, it's supposed to really bond you. I do still have to squeeze in a lab science, but it's do-able.
I'm retaking art appreciation even though I did well in it, I needed 3 credits to be full time (can't take my phase courses yet). I can justify it though because I took it at community college and we had THREE different teachers, one had a breakdown, the second got some sudden rare deadly disease and the third was really a substitute and didn't know very much. I adore art it should be fun. I avoided Charney classes like the plague. Hmmm 19 seats open in your Latin American Revolutions class, I wonder why? Any teacher that requires three of their own books is a baaad sign I think. My mom is driving up tomorrow and bringing my bookcase, wheely office chair and a bunch of other things. My three day weekend has started and I am stupidly happy. The drunken cookouts should start in a couple of hours, fun :)
