I've been getting back into the swing of things down here and it's already been insane. I've been working at the Dallas Opera all week as an intern with the lighting department. The Lighting Designer for the show, Tom Munn, is a nice guy; and he's a fairly well known deisgner, so it's pretty great to be able to work with him. I'm heading back there this afternoon for the first dress tonight. My job during the runs has been to track the spotlight cues thru the show and help organize them. There are a lot.
Between that and classes, there's been little time I'm not working.... with the exception of last night when I threw back a few white russians at my favorite dive and deeply regretted the shot of yager I accepted when I woke up with a headache this morning. But ahh, that's what the cup of joe is for...
