I rang in the New Year's down in the Big Apple. No times square confetti tornado though, my friend Chris rented out a loft in Manhattan and the old college crew made the trek down from Buffalo to celebrate with champagne and pizza overlooking Broadway. It was pretty fantastic. I'm decidedly a big fan of New York and wandering the streets this past weekend only furthered my intrigue and added more to the growing niche in my brain that wants to head there in a year and a half...
I'm back in Buffalo right now, hiding out from the cold and rain with some good records and even better cocktails.
Back to the Southland on the 10th. Rockin and rollin until then...
