What is life without poetry?

So much beauty sometimes I want to cry.
And so much pain inside me today, but I know I am made of light:
Quite literally and empirically, the photons from the suns and stars and moons have traveled lightyears to find me and make my atoms quiver and my quantum state will never be the same again.
It is only a small wound and there is a reason for it, and I will be whole again,
In one way or another.

A billion stars go spinning through the night,
blazing high above your head.
But in you is the presence that will be,
when the stars are dead.
- Rainer Maria Rilke

And, enigmatically smiling,
In the mysterious night,
She dances for her own delight,
A shadow smiling
Back to a shadow in the night.
- Arthur Symons, 1895

‎"But we all, with UNVEILED face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as be the Spirit of the Lord."
2 Corinthians 3:18

As we are fascinated by Love so do we strive to become Love, and draw others deeper into the same luminous mystery. ♥
