It's still different when you get this kind of validation from someone who kept saying, I can't be an artist for a living, it's not a real job, etc.

Guess what? It's just like any other business. You put in the hours. You push papers. You do the PR and the marketing. You do the networking. You meet deadlines. You handle responsibilities. You deal with legal stuff, contracts. You organize logistics. You invest capital. You set financial goals; make financial projections.

Mostly, it's about putting in the hours, and being responsible.
