I've been on a bit of a Hairspray kick recently. And I'm also completely obsessed with Sex and the City.

Other than that, my life lately seems to be filled with a whole lot of work, a moderate number of hair products, and trying to save money for a Macbook.

Back to Tacoma after tomorrow. As always, my return is bitter-sweet with more sweet than bitter. Yesterday was my last day at work--I curled my hair and wore a new dress--and afterwards about 20 of us went to IHOP, which was really nice. It's a really good feeling when you realize that amongst all the changes your identity is going through you still love the same person and the same person still loves you.

Evolving with someone else is a level of closeness that I've always wanted but never had.

So hooray for that.

Happiness in general is also a good feeling.

Went shopping with mom and bought pretty second-hand things.
Ran my ass off and sold much food and made $42 in tips.
Talked to Moira May :)
Went to the gym with mom and moved up to level 4 on the stationary bike.
Ate fresh watermelon with soy sauce (you betchya!).
Saw 2 spiders.
Watched 30 minutes of The Pursuit of Happyness with mom.

So last night was probably the worst night I've ever had at work. I cried...which I try not to ever do when I'm working. Oops. But perhaps the most important parts of last night are not all of the things that made it shitty, but all of the instances where people took the time to console me (in a genuinely not but non-invasive way). I went to Vic's funeral this morning. My mother came with me because Dulci couldn't get off work. There were 4 other Outback employees in attendance, but I was the only one who stayed the whole time.
