I met a man this weekend. I met him on Friday when I went to Hammer's with Amanda for her birthday. His name is Derrick and I'm so excited about him that I've been smiling like and idiot all day. He wanted me to call him when I got home to make sure that I made it here alright and we ended up talking for the better part of 2 hours. So, it's safe to say that we're dating. I'm so thrilled. Good things do come to those who wait... if I can say that cheezy line.
He's 28, and a good ol' country boy who works hard. He a little taller than me and has the PRETTIEST Grey-green eyes. It all started when a slow song came on and he asked me to dance. He ended up coming back to me every time a slow song came on, and by the end of the night we had exchanged numbers. I'm so ridiculously giddy it should be illegal. Things are looking fabulous!
