Dec 31 2006 - Jan 1 2007
YouthNet Countdown Party - ushering the Year of Victory with my sisters in Christ, and the whole boisterous gang of boys.
January
OG 35 - new school, new classmates, not-so-new faces. But overall, the JC experience has been very different, very refreshing from somewhat stifling secondary school culture.
January also marked my baptism date.
Febuary
A whirlwind of events happened here: settling into the very laxing HP lifestyle, Chinese New Year (lol wtf), Dramafeste, Talentime, STJs and whatnot, and the very beginnings of various FOS things.
March
One last chance to change the world and rid the world of democracy before we had to convert permanently to wearing our Communist threads. Amongst other things, there was the covert operation of cross-dressing, of which the evidence remains largely under covers (the moment we graduate the photos will be all over the Internets). Yes, that means you get to see the guys flashing. In skirts.
Also, there was YAWP (which we won!). And the lovely poetry-dramatisation thing is nicely settling into a niche for LD batch 07.
April
Because there was a photo-drought in April. CCF, lol!
Which actually did pretty okay, what with close to $9k raised, so hoorah hooray.
May
This was 1 busy month: Tiptoe, debate comp, Fac Outing, Pre-U Sem, How to Cook A Wolf... But possibly my favourite too.
June
CAP! A wedding in Malaysia! Also, CLAIRE SOON's birthday. I can't remember why my June was packed, but hey. Also I had terrifically bad conjunctivitis so I can't post photos of myself or my family because A-HA! I passed it to Sarah and my mom. And then subsequently it got passed on to my poor cousins ):
July
Dim Sum Dollies with Kal, the long-planned-for PPP, and for goodness' sake I really can't remember what else happened here. Must have something to do with the lack of photos because there's nothing here to trigger it.
August
I remember this month because it was significant staying over at Xiang's place to catch the meteors in her uncle's house - which is the most awesome thing ever, what with the movie room, talking out at the balcony, spotting the few meteors which we were still, lovely.
And in the morning, just wanting to skip National Day but we persevered.
Also: LD Exco JTS but I think the above photo just about explains how scandalous the whole thing was.
And the Gladys Surprise, which was great bonding with my cell. Cuifen and I have pioneered the Cuifen-Rachel Pasta which is awesome and yummy and a soon-to-be staple at all cell cook-off events.
September
After months of shameless plugging about my birthday, I was finally 17. Also, a couple of weeks left for the dreaded promos.
October
HP Sushi Party to celebrate the end of Promos and the welcoming of Math papers. Our holidays began, and there was Open House, Babysitting, and mugging for Camp React.
November
Fac Outing 2! CAMP REACT! And my favourite: Philippines, which was much fun and probably will be one of the best moments of my life. I haven't posted any photos save for this one, so um. Work started here, as with rehearsals.
December
And the closing of a month: I spent a lot of time with my dad working in his office, which I'm grateful for. And the cruise holiday, which was much fun. I haven't uploaded all the rest of the photos but I will, soon.

The people I crossed the New Year with.
And tadah. Events of 2007. Lots of mistakes made, lessons learnt, possum parties, and I can't alliterate so whatever. (: Hopefully 2008 will be even better and blessed.
