an end to a year
2007:
a year of victory - very much and obviously so in my personal life and capacity for the first half of the year, being incredibly blessed with opportunities i never thought possible: cap and exco being the two highlights this year. adjusting to j1, surrendering strife, learning to be better with some of my most treasured friends...
and because we're not perfect, sometimes we fall but while we all make mistakes, the thing is to pick yourself up and get on with it.
i'm preparing for a 2008 that i hope will be a restful one, one in which i grow spiritually, emotionally and PHYSICALLY (yes i do still hope to be 1.65m) more mature - there's always so much room for that.
i want to be more understanding, more responsible, less impatient, less quick to anger. be sensible with trust. be more open-minded but secured in values i should hold more dearly. hold on to the friends that have stuck by me. not be cynical, but continue to be cheery and optimistic about life, love and everything in between.
especial thanks to my best friends who have made 2007 a little easier (yes i get by with a little help from my friends). and gladys' girls, even though they won't be reading this, esp enqin, who has listened to all my struggles.
well 2008. :D wheeeeee. 23.5 hours left.
