You people... Really.

We're all in this together, you know. The sooner you realise that, the sooner we'll all be better off.

Too true. I admit, I had trouble with the concept of the inclusive "we" for a while, but talking to the right people does help with such bigger picture thinking.

Now I find myself a bit hungry to explore that "we" and determine where I may fit into it best.

It isn't that I can't relate to such feelings, only that... Well, it simply serves no purpose here, does it? We must all endure. Entitlement has no meaning here.

No, it really doesn't. The trials we face seem to serve as the great equalizer, as well as showing a need for community.

Precisely! Rome may not have functioned in such a way, but there's no reason we can't.

Always nice to meet people who speak my language.

Do people not often speak the truth where you come from?

Some do. Fewer do here.

There are few ways for people to entertain themselves outside of arguing. At least ones that shy from intellectual debate and physical exertion. I wouldn't mind seeing others explore their options.

One doesn't have to argue to be entertained. I think such behaviour is rather pointless.
