Jordan croaks
Well crap. Now we're never gonna know how it was supposed to end, if it ever was. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if 'keep stringing it out until I die' was the plan all along, he just wasn't expecting it to happen so soon.
Now we can be treated to his estate licensing the rights to produce novels 'based on world created By Robert Jordan by John Penname'. It'll turn into another Dune frachise.
I suppose it's better than actual new Wheel of Time books coming out though, because I'm one my particular brand of OCD requires me to re-read the entire series before reading a new one. That kept me from getting to Deathly Hallows for like a month after it came out.
