you want to learn so much from me, you know im strong, you think im wise, you believe i know whats up and that i should help you? heres your first lesson LERAN TO LISTEN!!! heres how.
1)Shut up (dont just shut your mouth, but stop thinking and just simply listen)
2) remember that you are not the only person in the universe! and for 10 minutes stop thinking about bronson.
3) remember that other people have thoughts and feelings and weaknesses and strengths, and when people open up to you they are putting themselves in a state of vulnerability. Its your job to do you very best not to violate that vulnerability, especially for your own personal gain.
4) SHUT UP! you must hang on that other persons evry word, they are the only other person in the universe and if you dont understand something they say the only time its good to speak is to ask a question to clarify.
5) prove to the person that you are listening, figure it out and do what it takes to prove it, ie. eye contact, remembering the conversation and being able to make connections (simply being able to repeat the last sentence does not prove to someone that you are listening.
6) consider the other persons feelings and understand not just the words but the emotions, understand that you cant just say whatever bronson thinks sounds cool.
7) SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!! stop waiting for your turn to speak! you dont get a turn. wait untill they ask you a question, then speak, and your answer should also prove to them that you were paying attention.
If you really listen to people, and you stop thinking about bronson and what bronson wants, then you will never get a repeat of tonite. Im not angry that you showed up here drunk with amanda when i wanted to be alone, Im not mad that you wanted me to go get pizza and hotdogs for you at the STUTZ because you didnt want anyone to know you were drunk, Im not even mad that my room stinks and that you were making an ass out of yourself outside of my door with all those peaople walking by.
What angers me to no end, is that you hurt that poor girl. You put her in a hard situation, and she has to make a very hard decision. She liked you, you made yourself out to be someone else and now she has to decide wether or not to turn you in to the dean or worry everyday that you have some kind of problem. Shes always going to have to be evaluating and re-evaluating her feelings, all because you had to mess around with her emotions and her mind. It's all good right because thats what Bronson wanted. She sat in the elevator for almost an hour crying. thats the difference between me and you, you get mad when someone crosses Bronson, but i only get angry when someone hurts another person.
I wanrned you, i told you not to play with her, all your fucking little games. I hope your pizza and hot dog was worth it, i hope it was worth hurting a beautiful girl.
