(no subject)
So I'm doing NaNoWriMo again ... so far I have completed the Hacking story & sent that in, done three Amish Romance Plots (one late Christmas Cinderella plot, a Crisis of Faith, & a "Hallmark" story with an amnesiac heroine), & am working on a "Diner Crime" story for a new anthology. I know, I know, none of those are starting an actual novel but one of the badges you can get for NaNoWriMo is "Rebel" where you start anything except a novel. I'll eventually get around to starting a new project, inspired by the publisher I send my Amish Plots in to ... alien erotica. Evidently, you can make a lot of money writing alien smut, & Lord knows I have aliens & they are pansexual ... We'll see how it goes later in the month.
The latest on the RL job is he's planning to make me Wed/Thurs/Fri as soon as I learn the ropes to his satisfaction. I pretty much have it down pat now, except for pricing, which is his baby. I figure I'll be texting him often to see how much he wants to price stuff for cash patients... 18 hours a week isn't really enough to keep me going, but it'll stretch my retirement drain a good bit.
And in other RL events, I need to take a tree down before it falls over. This is going to be an expensive undertaking because it is a huge tree that is right behind my garage. Nearly $2,000 but they are going to haul it off & grind the stump down as well. I've used this company before & they did a good job last time so ...
