My talk with the boss was not successful. I'm still part-time. I have applied to another independent pharmacy for a full time job - maybe I'll get that one instead. It would also be Monday through Friday, which is nice as I will know exactly when I'll have off.
I'm thinking about NaNoWriMo this year ... but I can't seem to get up the energy to get started! If I can stir myself, I still have time to get the requisite 1,667 words in...
I've got plenty of stuff I can work on to ease myself into writing. Still trying to finish that short story for the "Hacking" anthology, and I have an Amish Romance Plot I should be working on. I have a rough idea, but as with the other writing, just don't seem to have the get-up-and-go for it. I think it's time to turn on my natural light panel for the wintertime. I know I'm having trouble because I'm worried about my finances, but I need to learn how to write through the anxiety. If I can get a part time job, I can start putting the money back into my retirement account.
