Packing up to head on out this morning. B and A are going to give us a ride back downtown so P and I can do a little more sightseeing before our flight out. We'll have to lug our suitcases along but ...
P and I want to go see some cemeteries (and maybe Anne Rice's house if we can find it) and A's Navajo culture won't allow that, so we're going to split up. They'll drive back to New Mexico in a leisurely fashion while we pile on our plane and get ready for a 2-hour layover in Charlotte ... better than having to sprint across the entire terminal to make a connection.
Here are a few photos from the trip ... I'll post in stages so nobody gets overwhelmed. Let's start with Friday brunch at the Court of 2 Sisters.
It was a jazz brunch so we had a band.
When they found out it was my birthday Thursday I got confetti and a plastic crown!
