Must get the New Orleans trip finalized. I think everyone who's coming has responded ... though I'm a bit miffed that some of them haven't bothered to say yes or no...
All my short stories are sent off for September: "Dark Matters" for the Insecure Writer's Support Group, "OOh That Smell" for another contest (forget the name), and the humorous piece for Shoreline for Infinity. Then, when the website allows me to, I'll post this month's 12 Stories in 12 Months piece on "Jealousy Of..." Next up: October's stories (Friction and Saints & Sinners).
Getting ready for that beach trip on the 19th. Need to stop the mail that week and have the lawn urchin do the grass before then. We're taking a third car this time, as J is coming with (Yay!) and doesn't want to crowd into one of the cars we already have going. 4 1/2 hour trip ... I'll be getting the car tuned up Friday so we won't have anything to worry about like oil levels or tire rotation.
Off to physical therapy in a few minutes. Wish the Starbucks was on the way instead of being out of the way! I'll have to take a Mexican Coke and get a coffee on the way back instead. Then I've a massage at 2 and a bunch of YouTube videos to watch for the Rocky Mountain Virtual Writing Conference from Colorado. Full day ...
