I have shot one of my scientists ... I debated whether or not he should be murdered, but decided shot and out of action would do as well. I'm starting Chapter 41 which I hope is the last chapter ...
This morning's Summer Festival of Writing was all about Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them. Stuff like using the agent's actual name when sending a query and finishing your manuscript before you even start the query process. Stuff I mostly knew, but it was nice seeing it validated. Monday is Writing Your Crime Thriller, which I may or may not attend. I don't actually write crime thrillers, but it might have something I could use ... you never know.
Tonight's food truck is Daddy's Cookout - BBQ, hot dogs, tacos/nachos and various types of loaded fries. This is one part of COVID-19 I'm going to miss once everything opens back up again.
