RL Updates
Still no word from the unemployment office. Called and got the word that I should get a ruling by tomorrow sometime. They haven't been able to get any response from my ex-employer, which I suppose shouldn't surprise me.
I also have not gotten my stocks sold yet - they say I forgot to sign a line or date something on the form and are sending me a new form to fill out.
At least my COBRA insurance is active in case I need it!
Still no job openings I feel qualified for -- I'll probably end up at Walgreens or something similar if they had anything except a "floater" position, which involves substituting for any pharmacist out on vacation or sick day, driving all over the district and never knowing in advance when you have a day off. It's not a position for someone my age - let the youngsters take those jobs, please.
B should be in town within a week or so, which will be great. I'm trying to get the house cleaned up a bit so he can come over for coffee!
