A Happy Post!
I've been in such a piss poor mood lately that I thought I'd better stop feeling sorry for myself. So here are the Top 10 reasons I'm happy today (or pretending to be) in no particular order.
1. I sent regrets to a meeting with the volunteer group. I haven't missed a meeting since February 2006, not committee, or sub committee or any other meeting. I made up an excuse and I don't care. The best part is that I don't feel guilty at all.
2. This (the ending is soooo sweet):
3. Someone I went to high school added me to Facebook. And this time it's somebody I actually would like to talk to. Hooray!
4. I heard Starseed by Our Lady Peace on the radio and it made me so happy for the days when I loved OLP.
5. Finding out about a possible new TK album by the end of the year.
6. Windowstill by The Arcade Fire. My song of the moment.
7. Applying for a job at 1:30pm and getting a call back at 4:30 for an interview. Someone is more desperate than me!
8. Selling a textbook through Amazon for $70. I might be able to pay May's rent with or without my parents' help!
9. My order from Paula's Choice came in today! It's the exfoliator that all my OSNW peeps at 'The Skin Care Solution' community swear by.
10. It's spring! It's be above 4C for like 3 days now and it's sunny. That means that I can walk around with only a hoodie and it's the perfect temp for ice cream & slurpees. I've gotten a slurpee every day this week and I went to the BDI today (no, i did not get the goog). It's funny how in September when it's 4C we'll all be freezing but right now we're downing slurpees and wearing flip flops.
