[Listening to: I can't go for that - Orson]
Much Loud usually plays really heavy stuff like Pantera and Gwar during the one hour a week on Muchmusic because they don't play that kind of stuff at any other time. Now because muchmusic doesn't really play any music anymore they have all these spin off channels including Much Loud. [There's a point I promise].
So, I've subscribed to Much Loud whenever I could because the channel plays more than just banger stuff, it also plays a lot of indie and canadian music which I enjoy. I mean Stars is hardly Loud material but because it's indie I guess it fits.
So what's with all the crappy Fall out Boy?! If I wanted to listen to Fall out boy I'd watch muchmusic. Jesus that's all they play now anyway. Today I was so pissed because every time I went to Loud there was something equally lame. Hinder? I mean really.
So I was about to cancel my subscription because I was so irritated. And then, as though they knew, they played a video I hadn't yet seen (but is hardly new). The video in question? Indian Summer by Todd Kerns.
Well then I was hooked again. The possibility of seeing TK's videos made the Fall Out Boy thing more palatable. After all, everything sounds better on mute.
EDIT: Oh my God! So, after I found the above video I noticed that they had the Ugly video up as well. Good night! It was Age of Electric's first breakout song I guess you could say considering they never got to be very big. I so clearly remember the first time I saw this video. I was 13 and in awe that any guy still kept his hair that long but I was so terribly impressed with his voice (still am). I can't believe how young all the guys look in here and how amateurish the video appears. I never noticed it at the time but I think it was well done for 1993/94. Plus the mannequin scene still gives me the heebie jeebies.
