Body Snatchers
Had a nice weekend down in L.A…. Saturday evening, we had a potluck/memorial for Frank at Audrey’s house in Alhambra. I like her house; it’s shaded by trees and shrubbery…it looks like a little witch house that you’d see in the Black Forest somewhere. Anyway, about 10 of us friends showed up for his little memorial. It was a pleasant evening and we spent most of the evening talking. We all think Frank may have attended his little party, as well…in spirit, of course.
Sunday, Don and I went to see Gunter Von Hagens’ “Bodyworlds” exhibit, which was pretty cool, if you don’t mind seeing real, preserved human bodies! Very interesting. My favorite piece was the fetus skull and the the fetus inside a block of glass (looked like a paperweight with a fossil-like fetus in it). It’s hard to explain. We were not allowed to take photographs, so no pix, but it was definitely worth seeing. They also had human bodies sliced in pieces…very neat!
