Well, I get to stay home today due to the damn sequestration and I don't feel so happy about that :(
Making good of the bad, in other words making lemonade from lemons, seems to be a typical American trait that I will always lack. I'd rather be grumpy and obsess over the bad.

For some reason, our old building (WWII?) does not have any heat since the beginning of the winter. I would expect somebody to tell us to be free to work from home since we can easily do that (reading papers and such). But no.
