Omg, the second he said what his song selection would be, I was like, "take that Gokey!" - lol! And boy did he nail it. It was awesome!

And yeah, I'll hate missing the result show too but got to catch the Lost season final, right?

Honestly, it's probably better that I don't watch the results show... I would have too much anxiety! I get stressed out just reading the (reverse) spoilers in the episode discussion posts to find out who has been eliminated.

P.S. I just got in a conversation about LOST at the grocery store. The guy I was talking to looks like Danny Gokey! Hahaha. Except this guy is cool. He gives out the samples so I run into him a couple time a week and he has similar taste... Watchmen/LOST etcetra. Anyhow! He asked what I thought was going to happen tonight and I mentioned Locke going to kill Jacob and he said no, that Richard wouldn't let him and I went on a tangent about how great Richard Alpert is and that we actually get to see more of him finally. The guy I was talking to said something along the lines that he was cool but wears too much eyeliner. I of course said "No! He doesn't even wear any! It's natural. Me too! I get super nervous during stuff like that, so it's probably best I just watch Lost, which will also probably make me nervous at parts, lol!

LOL! Really? He looks like Danny? I totally hear you about the eyeliner, everyone seems to think Richard is wearing it but I swear I think it's natural! The actor has said it is, people on the show have said it is, and the actor even said he'd be willing to go on an interview show and have them test him to see if it's eyeliner! Oh, and as a proud eyeliner wearer myself, I agree that you and you know our stuff when it comes to eyeliner!

No need to thank me! I am glad you have been sucked into the fandom of Adam.

Yeah... that guy looks a bit like Gokey. I never had a reason to tell anyone that so I am glad it came up. I've almost mentioned it but that would inevitably lead to me griping about the horrors of Gokey.

Couldn't blame ya there! I still can't get over Gokey's scream during "dream on". *shudders* and he totally seems like he is trying to play the Christian card with the cross necklace wearing and all. Adam could SO easily try to go the more "first gay idol! vote for me" route but he doesn't. He is basing this soley upon his talent and, to me and probably most viewers, he's already the winner.

I agree.... though Simon Cowell was quite genius with his song choice. I don't know if you already read that link near the end of then entry but it had this about "One" by U2:

I know! I am thinking of doing an entry just about that song! I can't wait to see what he sings tomorrow. There will be one favorite of his from this season and the laaammmme American Idol single (I haven't heard it yet, it's just always lame, but I'm sure he wil work it out) and anotehr new song choice from the Producer I think...
