Soldiers in Waiting
It's like my Harry Potter.... Except it was only 6 years in the making, a fraction of the word-count and hasn't netted me a penny. I'm pretty sure most of the literate world hasn't read it either. Mind you, it does have the same disparity of style between the first and last installments.
More importantly, I've done it. I've got all the way to TF:TM in my Transitions series. Yeah, there's still an unwritten story from the original plan of the series, but it can now stand as complete. I thought this day would never come....
OK, so coming down to Earth for a minute. The fic is called Soldiers in Waiting, and features Arcee, Hot Rod, Kup, Springer and Ultra Magnus (what, I'm not allowed to indulge myself?). It's mostly a character piece, sowing the seeds for the dynamics between those five in the Movie and beyond. There's also some general scene-setting for the Movie.
Anyway... read! Critique! Assume I need professional help (of various kinds)! I'm going to go back to my little cloud of accomplishment.
