I've just sat through 11 straight hours of Firefly. Yes! My first viewing of the series, ever, has been to drink in almost all of it in one sitting. Yes, I could sit in front of the tv until midnight, and get the rest- the final episode aired on Fox, plus the three extra ones that Canadian viewers saw. Could. Might.
This was not what I planned to do today. No, I was going to Work. I have a major deadline in one week, plus a shopping trip in two days and a big gig on the weekend, so it's not like I've got lots of extra time to be sitting around. And it was a perfectly gorgeous day- which I spent entirely indoors.
Can't say I regret it, though. Because now I get it. I *so* get it. Twenty minutes into the first episode, I was all "I can't believe they cancelled this!"
The movie is in 25 days. Count me in.
