Lord Jeffrey

For those of you who are reading my novel, I was requested by one of my readers to have a picture done of Lord Jeffrey. So I decided to do a painting of what I visualize him looking like.

I was a bit reluctant to do this, because I don't want to Joss anyone's head canon. If you visualize him being different, cool. I'm fine with that. Seriously. Keep in mind, this isn't exactly the way I visualize Jeffrey, either, it's just as close as I can get to it with my level of skill.

The first thing you probably noticed is that the picture isn't really finished. I just drew a head and said, LOL, good enough. I'm not one of these artists that can whip out a picture in 15 minutes. This was freaking hard work. And I'm drawing essentially for myself, so I got lazy.

The ear is a bit wonky. I did that last, because I had to reposition it. It was too low. Also I think the perspective is off on the nose. The eyes are more feminine than I really wanted them to be. Anyway, if you have any suggestions for improvement I'd love to hear them. I learned a hell of a lot doing this.

For those interested, how I did the painting Image heavy, natch.
