UNDER AGED KIDDIES LISTEN UP!
Please don't read my dirty fics if you aren't legal for them... please. I like to treat people based on the way they behave and their interests rather than strictly their age, because I've met plenty of 18 year olds who were very mature, and a lot of 40 year olds who weren't. However, I don't want to get into legal trouble. And I don't want your parents thinking that I corrupted you. And frankly, I want to go to sleep at night with some semblence of self-respect.
I also don't want to have to do a background check on everyone I encounter.
I know I can't stop you from reading my stuff short of making this friends only, and I don't want to do that, but I can let you know that I don't approve of it. If you think it's ok to read stuff you aren't legal for because you are very mature, then understand that one of the tests of maturity is staying within the law, and one of the signs of adulthood is consideration of others when you do choose to act.
It makes me feel like crap when I realize I've corrupted a minor. That should be enough to make you stay away.
I do lable and my stuff, so there's no exuse for reading something you shouldn't.
I consider myself spanked right now.
EDIT: I know I have some younger fans out there. That's ok. Just... use some common sense, please. And let your parents know what you are up to. They honestly are on your side and want what's best for you.
EDIT Again: Some of my fics are G, PG and PG -13 -- I don't mind anyone reading them, regardless of age. A few are R -- use some common sense, but that said, I saw R rated movies when I was 15. I'm not going to have a cow over it. HOWEVER, NC-17 means PORN, pure and simple. The 17 isn't just a random number.
