Oh crap, I haven't posted in a couple weeks. Oops?
I've been busting ass finishing up the last few big projects on New House and finally, properly moving everything in. I'm a little sad to be out of the apartment. I've spent most of my life moving every 12 months, so even a little stability is enough to endear me to place forever, apparently. And I am going to miss our badass landlord.
It's such a weird grown-up moment, moving into my house with my husband and my dogs. I even own a car that doesn't require duct tape or a coathanger to operate! I'm still not quite a responsible member of society with a proper job, but STILL. This is my life.
In other news, my Inbox was tickled recently by...
IKR? I really fucking LOVE TWITTER. I get to say all sorts of obnoxious things to cool celebrities and they respond, yet they won't remember me by the next day, so there's no lingering embarrassment. Now I just need to get @WilliamShatner and @StephenFry, and my life is pretty much complete.
And this made me LOL so hard --
CSI spoilers for Season 10. They list a few things they are going to be changing in the next year (click if you care, if you do I'm sure you've seen this), responding to criticism and perceived deficits in the show since Petersen left. My favorite part? This.... "He's (Ray) had a little bit of a wardrobe makeover.". LOLOLOLOL TO INFINITY. They think that one of the most important and notable changes they're making to the show is giving Ray a new leather jacket or some shit. REMEMBER YOUR LAST LEAD? HE'S PRACTICALLY A HOBO, FFS. There is special behind-the-scenes vids of Petersen making the wardrobe department glue Grissom's nasty old shoes back together. Sweet lords, these people are idiots.
Speaking of Twitter and the fuckery that is the CSI writing staff, for those of you not in the fandom, you really have to behold the shitstack that is
Dustin Lee Abraham's Twitter so you can understand my pain. Remember all those times I pissed and moaned and cried every time his name popped up as the writer for an episode? I don't make this shit up.
